Natural Antifungals for Bioprocesses
In collaboration with the CSIC, Sanbiotec identified natural antifungal compounds with the aim of facilitating slow fermentation processes without the risk of contamination. This sustainable alternative allows for the elimination of antibiotics in static and long-term bioprocesses, enabling cleaner, safer, and more environmentally friendly production—especially in contexts where microbiological stability is essential.
Optimization of biomass for biofertilizer
In collaboration with Biomixing, Sanbiotec developed a project focused on improving the production of microbial biomass intended for biofertilizers.
