In collaboration with the CSIC, Sanbiotec studied the molecular bases involved in sugar production and tolerance to abiotic stress in plants, with a focus on redox regulation. This knowledge enabled progress in the development of more effective treatments capable of modulating plant physiology in a precise and sustainable way. The study compared the effectiveness of a curative treatment versus a preventive one, demonstrating that the application strategy has a decisive influence on the results, and that a curative approach is not always the best alternative.
