Fusarium graminearum is a widespread phytopathogen feared by farmers due to its impact on large-scale crops. Sanbiotec conducted a study on the antifungal activity of various natural products provided by the client. After identifying the most promising compound, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) tests were performed to optimize its use as a biocontrol agent. Thanks to its expertise in fungal management and antifungal testing, Sanbiotec was able to validate the treatment’s effectiveness as a sustainable alternative to synthetic fungicides.
